  • Procrastination is played out

Time to get this blog jeu back on track. This is the second rebirth. I just find my domain name so damn cool, it hurts my gum to chew it.

  • Live testing is played out

    Testing post from iPhone…

    What about a pic ?

    Huh ?

  • Time is played out

I feel bad not posting for 3 days. In between work and a wedding, I must admit that most of the time spent in front of my computer this weekend was dedicated to the season 5 of TV serie LOST currently airing on ABC I downloaded on ThePirateBay.org*… Watching episode 11,  it struck me. Why not post back in time like they do in LOST !  So here it is. And if you were not in yet on thepiratebay hint, you’re in for a jewel of a torrent tracker and true “up yours copyrights !” manifesto.

*I don’t feel bad about downloading TV shows, but I do sometimes feel way a little too geek when watching HEROES… And posting back in time… I could have watched it on the official site, if I lived in the states, but I’m in Canada. OK OK I know I could have used this to get around the site’s geolocalisation software that blocks my connection… But I prefer having em on my desktop and not worry about sloppy internet connection while streaming, or even no access to the interwebs at all. That being said, a bright flash and strident sound should occur now and bring you back in your prefered space / time continuum.

  • Tiny URLs are played out

I started using tiny url only recently because of twitter. Only to find out a couple month later that they’re already played out. I heard it’s all about freaking huge url right now.

That’s what a real player’s URL looks like. Massive. Like my brands : http://www.freakinghugeurl.com/refer.php?count=8&url=Vm0weGQxSXhiRmRYV0d4VVYwZG9XRll3WkZOVU1WcHpXa2M1VjJKSGVGWlZiVEZIWVd4S2MxTnNXbFppVkZaeVZteGtTMUl4VG5OaVIwWlhWbTVCZWxkWGRHRlpWMUpIVm01V2FsSnVRbGhXYlhoelRURmFjbFZyWkZoaVZscElWa2MxUzJGV1NuVlJiR2hYWVd0d2RsVnNXbXRXTVdSMFpFWlNUbFl4U2tsV2JUQXhWakZzVjFOdVZsSmlhelZoVmpCb1ExZEdWbk5YYlhSWVZqQTFSMWRyWkhkVWJGbDRVMnh3VjFaRmIzZFpha3BMVWpGT1dWcEdhR2xTYTNCdlZtMDFkMUp0VVhoVmJrcFlZbGhTY1ZsclduZGxWbEp6VmxSR1YwMUVSa2haYWs1clZqRmFSbGR1V2xwbGExcFVXWHBHVDJOc1duTlRiR1JUVFRBd01RPT0=

It completely messes up my page layout ! No thanks to @provokat for the link. Grrrr.

  • Your blog is played out

Here’s the schematic on how it happened.

  • Your permalink structure is played out

Hopefully mine won’t be again for a while…

  • Blogging is played out

everythingisplayedout.com was my first “personnal website” I put online in january 2004. I had heard about a new up and coming thing that was supposed to revolutionize the interwebs: blogs. Running with MovableType 2.2, the site’s purpose was mainly aimed at “experimenting with this stuff”. Part of the experimentation involved the creation of an online cooking show called “L’Anarchie Culinaire selon Bob le Chef” wich I soon moved to it’s own URL www.boblechef.com (that still lives on and growing ever since).

At the time, the idea of blogging about blogging and being a blogger kinda lost it’s interest (don’t worry, it’s not coming back) and for some reasons (dumb ones for sure) I lost ownership of the everythingisplayedout.com domain in fall 2006… I like buying domain names that I find clever. Makes me feel; clever. Like I own doyoulookdrunk.com and it makes me feel pretty damn good about myself. So I was pissed about losing the domain…

Long story short, by chance, I regained ownership of my domain last friday and I’m pretty much just stoked on it. Blog game is now raging over the interwebs. WordPress is just ill. And I’m still g33kin’.

As for the title of the website and why I’m so stoked to have it back; needless to say I have nihilistic tendencies. I have maintained that philosophy well boosted and it has grown strong with time.

I’m an observ”hater”. Welcome to my lab.

PS: this ain’t no manifesto or anything. I’m just stoked to get my domain name back.
